TIME is running out for Yorkshire’s top companies to
submit their entries for The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards, which honour the great and good of our county’s corporate community.
The Yorkshire Post has extended the deadline for the top awards until Monday, July 14.
It is quick and easy to enter: just visit www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/awards and follow the simple instructions.
Judges are looking for entries from companies of all shapes and sizes. Entrants must explain what makes them stand out from the competition.
They can range from multi-nationals to tiny companies with big dreams that were founded in a laboratory or on a kitchen table.
As well as celebrating excellence in business in Yorkshire, the awards have provided a platform for political heavyweights like Chancellor George Osborne and his counterpart Ed Balls to reach an audience of the region’s most dynamic entrepreneurs and their advisors.
This year’s speaker is Iain Duncan Smith, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who is leading Government efforts to reform the welfare state and get more people back into employment.
The judging panel is made up of representatives from our sponsors, and chaired by Business Editor Bernard Ginns.
Our headline sponsors are DLA Piper, Goldman Sachs, PwC and Yorkshire Bank.
Our associate sponsors are Bradford University School of Management, Drax, Elevation Recruitment, QBE Insurance and thebigword.
