SHEFFIELD UNITED lost Kyle Walker at the end of the January transfer window last night after he was recalled by his parent club Tottenham Hotspur.
The England Under 20s defender, who moved to Spurs last summer as part of a multi-million pound deal with Kyle Naughton, has been on loan at Bramall Lane all season.
Tottenham yesterday allowed Naughton to join Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season.
And with just 50 minutes left until the closing of the window, Tottenham contacted Sheffield United and exercised their right to take Walker back to White Hart Lane.
Sheffield United visit Watford tonight in the Championship.
