A TECHNOLOGY firm with a growing base in Yorkshire is set to win more contracts after receiving a major accolade from software giant Microsoft.
IT support business TSG is among only one per cent of the 650,000 Microsoft Partners worldwide to have secured a gold standard in a number of key areas. TSG, whose Yorkshire regional office is based in Colton, near Leeds, achieved the gold level in server platforms, enterprise resource planning, and portals and collaboration competencies.
TSG, which has 29 of its 550 staff in Yorkshire, also has offices in Newcastle and Manchester.
It has an annual turnover of around £45m.
David Stonehouse, TSG chief executive, said: “We are extremely proud of these achieve- ments.”
Mark Wood, managing director of TSG in Leeds, said yesterday: “This was a very challenging process in which we put significant investment.
“Microsoft raised the bar last year by introducing their new competencies strategy.”
