Two arrested over Halifax girl’s disappearance

Two people have been arrested after a 13-year-old girl went missing in Halifax

The girl who had been reported missing on Monday afternoon, was found overnight.

And police have said they are due to interview two people in connection with her disappearance later today.

Detective Inspector Sharon Hewitt, of the Calderdale Safeguarding Unit, said: “The girl has been found safe and well. She’s back into the care of the local authority.

“There are two people presently in custody and they will be interviewed later.”

The police have thanked the public for their help in locating the girl.
