Two women were taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a house in Bradford.
Firefighters from Bradford and Odsal stations were called to the scene shortly after 12.30am this morning.
They used to hose reels and four sets of breathing apparatus while putting out the fire.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said two ladies in their 50s suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
He said smoke detectors in the property had been working and a fire investigation had begun.
