UPDATED: Vehicle fire closes a stretch of the M1 in Barnsley this morning
All lanes have now re-opened but delays still possible after a vehicle fire on the motorway.
A vehicle fire has closed three lanes of the M1 in South Yorkshire this morning.
It is between junctions 36 and 37 which are for Barnsley and Dearne Valley turn-offs.
One lane is closed northbound and two lanes closed southbound.. Emergency services are en route and delays building on the approaches say Highways England.
