Watch online: Iggy rocks the (stately) house
The self-styled godfather of punk Iggy Pop topped the bill at The Children's Society 'Rock the House Live', in the unlikely setting of Harewood House at the weekend.
Iggy and his band the Stooges were supported by Mercury Prize nominees The Young Knives and current punk bands The Horrors, Sons and Daughters and Sunshine Underground.
Iggy said: "I'm getting a big kick out of making music for the Children's Society. All kids deserve a good childhood."
Richard Johnson, of the Children's Society, said: "We got a great balance between rock royalty and bright young things. We wanted to make a great day out that everyone can afford."
Among the crowd was Emmerdale star and Iggy Pop fan Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chastity Dingle in the YTV serial.
Yorkshire Post video cameras were there to capture the occasion. See the highlights by clicking the Play button above.
