A SKIER makes her way up the hill to the Yad Moss ski slopes near Garrigill, Cumbria, although forecasters have quelled speculation of more heavy snowfalls.
The Met Office told the Yorkshire Post last night that the weekend’s forecast is for cloudy weather with sunny spells and temperatures are due to rise as high as 7C.
While there has been some snow across high ground in Scotland and the north of England, there are not expected to be any more heavy falls in the coming days.
A Met Office spokesman said: “We are expecting typical autumnal weather over the weekend and into next week. There will be quite heavy cloud but some sunny spells and temperatures could dip to just below zero overnight, but nothing too extreme.”
