In an effort to increase her appeal to a younger audience, the monarch is on the look out for a media specialist to boost the Royal Family’s profile on social media.

In addition to continuing managing the Facebook and Twitter accounts of Britain’s most prominent family, the candidate will be expected to find ways to attract new followers.

The job is being advertised on the British Monarchy website. It states the person must be experienced in managing “high-profile websites” and “comfortable developing strategy and managing wide-reaching projects.”

The candidate must also be aware of The Queen’s visibility to millions around the world and act accordingly.

“It’s about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain The Queen’s presence in the public eye and on the world stage. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional,” it says on the royal family’s website.
