Yorkshire weather: Cold start with more rain to come over the weekend

The rain will continue to fall over Yorkshire today and this weekend, but it will also become much colder... and there is even the chance of some snow in the early part of next week.

Here is your guide to the few days ahead...


Most places will start cold and bright with some sunshine. A band of showery rain will move across all parts during the day with a few heavier bursts of rain. Most of this will clear during the afternoon. Maximum Temperature 7°C.


A dry start but with further rain spreading across in the early hours with some heavier bursts of rain before it clears. Frost and some icy patches forming. Minimum Temperature 0°C.


A cold start with some bright spells. Bands of showers will cross all parts during the day with a few heavier bursts of rain. Generally staying cloud with temperatures struggling. Maximum Temperature 6°C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Cold with showers, falling as snow over high ground. Showers will merge into longer spells of rain or hill snow. Patchy overnight frost and fog. Windy at times.
