ALISTAIR BROWNLEE will be one of Yorkshire's youngest representative in Beijing after being picked to represent Great Britain in the men's triathlon.
The 20-year-old from Dewsbury is a two-time world triathlon champion at junior and under-23 level, and earned selection by finishing third in the Madrid World Cup.
He is one of only three men to be selected for the British team.
Brownlee said: "My original focus was 2012, but I am not treating Beijing as a practice run, I'm going to make the most of it."
