Man found in Scarborough street with multiple stab wounds

The injured man is today in a stable condition in hospital after being discovered in the Trafalgar Square area of the town at 9.50pm on Friday.

North Yorkshire Police said they believe the man was injured whilst he was at a property in Kealia Court, Wooler Street, about 20 minutes earlier.

Officers are conducting enquiries in the area to determine the series of events which lead to the stabbing and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information which would assist the investigation to contact DI Paul Healy of the Scarborough Serious Crime Team on 101.
