Five charged with murder after Bradford man killed in stabbing

FIVE men have been charged with murdering a 35-year-old man who was stabbed during a disturbance in Bradford.

Sarfraz Khan of Great Horton, Bradford, died in hospital shortly after he was stabbed in the incident in Cecil Avenue, which occurred at about 10.15pm on Thursday.

A post mortem examination revealed he died from a stab wound to his chest.

A 32-year-old man also received stab wounds following the incident. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Amir Ali aged 19, Tariq Mahmood aged 26, Sajid Hussain aged 32 and Amjid Ali 38, all of Cecil Avenue have been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Mohammed Ali Nassar aged 31, of Cecil Avenue, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and wounding with intent.

All five men will appear at Bradford Magistrates Court tomorrow. (Monday April 18.)

Two other men arrested have now been released without charge.
