Police name woman who died in crash outside Bradford pub

A woman who died following a collision with a car in the Wyke area of Bradford on Sunday has been named by police as Janet Molloy.

The 51-year-old, of Norwood Green, died after being injured in a collision with a Toyota IQ2 on the A58, close to the Wyke Lion pub at about 1.10am.

The vehicle was travelling towards Bradford at the time and West Yorkshire Police said its 19-year-old male driver was assisting with its investigation into the incident.

Acting Sergeant Mathew Tunney from the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: “We are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicle or Mrs Molloy immediately prior to it.”
