Detectives have called for victims of inappropriate sexual touching at Leeds train station to contact them after a woman was sexually assaulted.
A 48-year-old man from Huddersfield has been arrested and charged in connection with the attack which happened on Friday, June 3 but officers believe other women may also have been approached.
Detective Inspector Mick Jackson said: “We believe at least two other women in the station on the night of Friday, 3 June may have been approached by a man who brushed past them and touched them inappropriately and we would urge them to come forward so we can speak to them and provide them with support.
“We take all reports of this nature very seriously and Our Report It to Stop It campaign, which aims to combat unwanted sexual behaviour on the railway by encouraging members of the public to report it, is proving very successful in supporting victims and bringing perpetrators of these crimes to justice.”
