LOVE conquers all; all you need is love; love makes the world go round...Adele Parks's new heroine knows and lives all the cliches.
Her life is mapped out with certainty: love, marriage, babies, happy ever after.
But she soon finds out the course of true love never did run smooth, particularly when you add a resentful Italian mamma and a handsome American stranger into the mix.
Adele Parks' eighth novel is sure to delight her legion of fans who revel in her comic relationship dramas.
In this interview, the best-selling rom-com writer talks about the fun of Italian stereotypes, the Bridget Jones effect on chick lit, and spreading the word of World Book Day.

Parks grew up in Cleveland and studied English at the University of Leicester. While harbouring dreams of being an author, she instead went to Italy to teach English. On her return to England she entered the fast-paced world of advertising, and after a stint in Botswana, she took a job in a top London advertising firm. She started her first novel while "living the dream" in London and Playing Away became the debut bestseller of 2000.
Her next seven novels, Game Over, Larger Than Life, The Other Woman's Shoes, Still Thinking Of You, Husbands, and Young Wives' Tales, were published in consecutive years and have also been best-sellers, with more than one million copies sold in the UK alone.
Parks has also written an award-winning Quick Read title, Happy Families, to help encourage people to read, and is an official spokesman for World Book Day.
She lives in London with her second husband and son, and is already underway with the ninth novel, due out next year.
