Bristol City v Doncaster Rovers
Team news: Rovers will be forced into at least one change for the trip to Ashton gate because striker Gareth Taylor is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll has two former Bristol City strikers - Paul Heffernan and Darren Byfield - pushing for the opportunity to start. Sean Mcdaid and Gordon Greer remain sidelined.

Sean O'Driscoll: "We are not stupid - we know that a 'performance' is not enough and that we also have to win matches."

Norwich City v Sheffield United

Team news: Blades defender Sun Jihai is suspended after picking up a red card in midweek so Greg Halford or Derek Geary will take over at rightback.

Striker Darius Henderson is again ruled out by a knee injury and midfielder Matthew Spring is out with damaged ankle ligaments. Striker Billy Sharp faces a late fitness test on a calf strain.

Kevin Blackwell: "When you are at a top club, you have to be able to handle the desire and the passion and the anxiety of a set of fans who are more used to winning than losing."

Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town

Team news: Defender Mark Beevers is the main doubt for the Owls after missing the last two games with a hamstring problem.

Midfielder Steve Watson returns after being rested in midweek and striker Francis Jeffers is available after making his first appearance of the season as a midweek substitute. Defenders Frank Simek (ankle) and Richard Hinds (broken leg) and striker Akpo Sodje (knee) remain long term absentees.

Brian Laws: "The midweek result at Reading came out of the blue. There is no need to start panicking yet. I know the players are ready to respond."

Southampton v Barnsley

Team news: Brazilian midfielder Anderson De Silva is pushing for a first start of the season after seven months recovering from knee surgery.

Winger Martin Devaney has recovered from the virus that forced him to miss the midweek defeat to Cardiff City but Michael Coulson and Maceo Rigters are still unavailable due to injuries.

Simon Davey: "Everybody has a bad spell now and again but we have to stay strong, stay positive and keep the players positive."

League One
Carlisle United v Leeds United

Rotherham United v Luton Town
Team news: Spanish striker Omar Garcia has received international clearance and could make his debut for the Millers.

Winger Alex Rhodes could also earn a recall after impressing as a substitute last weekend against Rochdale. Defender Marc Joseph is back in training but unlikely to play at this bstage. Defender Stephen Brogan (broken leg) remains a long term absentee

Mark Robins: "It's the first meeting of the season between teams with points penalties so that brings added pressure but we can handle it."
