Rotherham United v Lincoln City

ROTHERHAM United manager Mark Robins has committed his future to the club for the next four years following its exit from administration.

Robins put pen-to-paper on a two-year extension to his existing deal last night and immediately vowed to repa
y the faith of new owner Tony Stewart.

The Millers have been docked 17 points by the Football League for failing to agree a Company Voluntary Arrangement and will start the season locked in a battle against relegation from League Two with both Bournemouth and Luton Town, who have been docked 17 and 30 points respectively.

The Millers' financial situation improved yesterday when Premier League new boys Hull City agreed to pay £150,000 for teenage goalkeeper Mark Oxley.

The deal also guarantees the Millers further payments depending on appearances and possible sell-on fees.

Robins, meanwhile, plugged a gap in the centre of his defence by signing former Doncaster Rovers defender Nick Fenton on a free transfer from Grimsby.

Fenton will make his debut in today's opening game of the season against Lincoln City at the club's new temporary home, Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium.
