HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS have signed England academy hooker Keal Carlile from Bradford for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old, a former Featherstone Lions junior who made a try-scoring Super League debut for the Bulls against St Helens in June, has signed a three-year contract with the Giants.
Castleford Tigers have split with their football manager Mick Robinson, who is returning home to Australia after three eventful years at Wheldon Road, a period which has seen the club relegated and promoted back to Super League.
"We will be maintaining a link with Michael when he returns home and hope that he might be able to help us with players in the future," said Castleford chief executive Richard Wright.
York City Knights have promoted James Ratcliffe from assistant coach to director of rugby.
