HULL KR coach Justin Morgan saluted his side after their sensational comeback in yesterday's 36-34 victory at Warrington.
Rovers, with little to play for but pride, looked down and out when they trailed 34-18 with eight minutes left.

But then the away side came back from the dead to stun the Wolves with England winger Peter Fox crossing twice and Kris Welham latching
onto Paul Cooke's kick to level the scores in injury time.

And up stepped Michael Dobson to coolly strike the match-winning conversion from near the touchline.

Morgan said: "We kept the faith after failing to control the game at any stage.

"Ninety per cent of the people inside the ground probably thought we couldn't win but the players had the faith.

"We made too many silly mistakes in the first half and gave away too many penalties.

"We used our get-out-of-jail card and we will gain confidence from this.

"I thought we had blown it when Shaun Briscoe didn't give the ball to Ben Galea near the end but then Paul Cooke showed his vision with the kick for Peter Fox to score.

"Michael Dobson accepted the pressure, waved Paul Cooke away and kicked the vital goal."

Simon Grix had grabbed a try double as Warrington looked set to sweep to their eighth victory in 10 matches since Jimmy Lowes took over as boss from Paul Cullen.

The Wolves lost Chris Riley with concussion after two heavy tackles by Welham while Paul Rauhihi was also unable to complete the match because of a groin injury.

But Lowes refused to use that as an excuse, saying: "We were well in control but have to learn from this.

"We turned over too much ball and eventually ran out of gas.

"We played a little dumb at times and we need to put that right.

"Our guys have to learn we cannot score every time we get the ball."

Warrington had already beaten Hull KR twice this season and made the perfect start with Michael Monaghan and Lee Briers combining for Matt King's inside pass to put Chris Hicks over after four minutes.

But Rovers were ahead 8-4 with a Dobson penalty and Jake Webster's converted try after Makali Aizue's surge set up the chance for Galea to provide the pass.

Welham was placed on report for a tackle on Chris Riley but he returned to latch onto Dobson's smart kick to score.

Warrington had led 22-12 at the break after scoring four tries.
