HALIFAX kept up the heat on the leaders and Hunslet recorded their first win of the season on a busy weekend of Co-operative National League action.
Halifax turned up the heat on Salford at the top of National League One as Graham Holroyd inspired a convincing 56-14 hammering of fifth-placed Batley at the Shay.

Hunslet kept their heads to record their first National League Two victory of the season, taking full advantage of an error-strewn Rochdale performance to triumph 35-28.

Doncaster extended their winning sequence to six consecutive games but York made the League leaders fight every inch of the way.

Doncaster eventually prevailed 25-14.

Keighley bounced back to winning ways with a convincing 58-12 win over the London Skolars.

Full match reports in Tuesday's Yorkshire Post.
