Nottingham 30
Leeds Tykes 37

LEEDS Tykes picked up their first five-point haul in the domestic rugby since April 2005 but once again, this this win came at a major cost as Chris Jones was carried off with a dislocated shoulder.
Jones, whose return from shoulder surgery had galvanised the Leeds midfield in recent weeks, went off in stoppage time. He joins fellow centres Rob Vickerman, Lee Blackett and Andy Tuilagi on the sidelines.
With star wing Tom Biggs undergoing an ope
ration today, the Tykes are desperately short of backs.
Yesterday, though, there were few problems as blind-side flanker Jon Dunbar and wing Tom Rock each scored two tries.
Nottingham scored with the last play of the game to make the contest seem closer than it was.
With Jonny Hepworth and Darren Edwards dictating matters at half-back, the home team were on the back foot for long periods.
Dunbar was enjoying one of his best games for the Tykes. Time and time again he stopped Nottingham attackerd in their stride.
His first try came in the 21st minute after a flowing move which started with Jones as the ball then passed through the hands Rhys Oakley, Richard Welding and Tom McGee.
He was in the right place again when a kick through by Edwards wrong-footed the defence and he was left with a simple pick up to score on 42 minutes.
Nottingham had started the better and soon led 10-0 through Tom Barlow's penalty and pushover try from winger David Jackson.
It was only then that the Tykes started to get their game together as a crossfield kick from Hepworth found Rock racing up the left wing and he was left with a clear run to the line.
Dunbar's first try levelled the scores and Leigh Hinton's conversion gave them the lead for the first time on 21 minutes.
Dunbar conceded a penalty from which Nottingham regained the lead but two penalties from Hinton gave the Tykes a half-time lead of 18-13.
Within two minutes of the re-start, Dunbar scored his second but another penalty from Barlow reduced the deficit to 23-16.
However Mark Lock all but sealed victory on 52 minutes after he was on the business end of some good work by Richard Bryan, who had replaced Pablo Bouza, and Dunbar. Hinton stretched the lead to 30-16 with the conversion.
Four minutes later, Dunbar was on his way to the sin-bin but luck was on Leeds's side when Barlow kicked the penalty dead.
Sam Raven gave the home side renewed hope when he was on the bottom of a pushover try which was converted by Barlow but two minutes into injury time, Tom Rock silenced the home crowd when he sidestepped his way to the line. Hinton kicked the conversion.
Nottingham got a consolation try seven minutes into stoppage time when Ryan Hopkins was on the right end of another pushover try which was again converted by Barlow.
Leeds: Hinton; Welding, A Rock, Jones (Vasey 80), T Rock; Hepworth, Edwards (Rauluni 60); McGee, Rawlinson, Noon (Cusack), Bouza (Bryan 40), Myall (Nilson); Dunbar (Schusterman 60), Lock (Stitcher), Oakley.
