BRADFORD City are giving a trial to right-back Shaun Densmore, 19, following his release by Everton.
Former internationals from England and Germany will play for the 'Derek Dooley Memorial Cup' in a game being staged at Sheffield United's ground next month.

Dooley, who died in March, was a legend in Sheffield and respected by supporters at both sides of the city.

His widow, Sylvia, said: "Derek would have been honoured to see his name on this trophy. He personally knew a lot of the English players likely to be playing or involved in the match."

The game, on Thursday, August 7, is part of a Legends tournament being televised this summer on ITV4. The game is also set to raise money for the Red Cross China Earthquake Appeal.

Former Blades defender Bob Booker is returning to the coaching staff at Brighton two years after being axed. Booker, 50, has been re-appointed by manager Micky Adams, who is also back for a second spell.

Halifax Town have sold striker Jon Shaw to League Two side Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

Harrogate Town have signed Huddersfield Town midfielder Matty Young. Chairman Bill Fotherby has also tempted former Hull City defender Justin Whittle, Halifax midfielder Ryan Toulson, former Leeds United youngster Nicky Gray, Sheffield FC striker Jamie Smith, and Bury goalkeeper Jim Provett to Wetherby Road this summer.
