BLADES captain Chris Morgan is an early doubt for the Steel City derby a week on Sunday.
Morgan sat out last Saturday's home win over Bristol City due to a calf strain and has been described as "touch and go" by manager Kevin Blackwell.

"He might have played on Saturday but we cannot afford to risk losing one of our centre backs," said Blackwell.

"He stood down for the good of the team and Ugo Ehiogu stepped up."

Across the city, Owls right-back Frank Simek is refusing to set himself a Championship comeback target after making a long-waited return after 10 months out on Tuesday.

The Owls right-back played for the first-half in the Reserves' 4-0 win against Bradford.

"I'm not going to say yes or no," said Simek.

"I don't know when I'll be back. I'm taking it day by day."
