YORKSHIRE have reached 80-0 in response to Surrey's 204, but play has been abandoned due to rain on day two of the LV County Championship match at Headingley Carnegie.
1.45pm: That's it for the day, sadly. The weather has won. Only 13.3 overs were possible, during which Yorkshire added 30 runs and lost no more wickets.

1.15pm: It's hosing it down at Headingley. There are huge puddles on the outfield. Further play is unlikely today.

30th over (11.45am): The rain has returned with a vengeance and play has halted, probably for some time. Andrew Gale had moved on to his half-century, and he is on 53, with fellow opener Chris Taylor on 23.

Yorkshire are on 80-0 in response to Surrey's 204.

Deon Kruis took five wickets as Yorkshire bowled out Surrey for 204 on day one.
