Doncaster Rovers were left to rue two dropped points after they were held 1-1 by Oldham Athletic at the Keepmoat Stadium.
With second-placed Carlisle United winning, it has opened up a five-point gap at the top of League One, and Rovers look like they will have to settle for a play-off spot.

Doncaster had been 1-0 up after Paul Heffernan scored in the 37th minute with a clever finish from just inside the penalty area.

But Oldham equalised seven minutes after half-time when Jason Jarrett found space on the edge of the area and directed his shot into the bottom-left corner of the net.

Rotherham United's League Two play-off hopes look to be over after a Chris Dagnall hat-trick (81, 86, 90) helped Rochdale claim a 4-1 win at Spotland.

Marc Joseph had earlier given the Millers a seventh-minute lead before Gary Jones equalised for Dale in the 30th minute.

Chesterfield remain in play-off contention despite slipping to a 1-0 defeat at Bradford City courtesy of Peter Thorne's 16th-minute winner.

Both Halifax Town and Farsley Celtic are in deep relegation trouble in the Blue Square Conference after Easter Monday defeats.

Farsley occupy the final relegation place after a 1-0 home defeat to Burton Albion, Matt Williams netting on 14 minutes.

Just a place better off are the Shaymen, who lost 2-0 at Droylsden.
