Rana Naved-ul-Hasan could make his Yorkshire debut against Scotland on Sunday, a fortnight earlier than had been expected.
The fast bowler flew in to Manchester from Pakistan today and will be assessed by Yorkshire's staff at Durham in the morning.

He is set to travel with the squad to Edinburgh tomorrow and if the club decide he is ready, he will play in the Friends Provident Trophy match.

On the field, Yorkshire slumped to a humiliating 295-run defeat to Durham in the County Championship at the Riverside.
