LEEDS FORCE guard Dwayne Camille has warned his team-mates not to underestimate the threat of struggling Plymouth University Raiders.

For while Leeds have suffered four defeats in a row, Plymouth are the only BBL team still waiting for a win this season.

The two teams meet tonight (Friday) at the Carnegie Sports Centre (7.30), and history is on Plymouth’s side, having won all three meetings between these teams in the BBL.

Camille said: “Plymouth are not having a great start to the season but that doesn’t mean we’ll sleep on them.

“Our main focus in games is to make it as hard as we can on the defensive end and the offence will come naturally, and we will apply this in the game on Friday.”

Sheffield Sharks are also on home territory, then they welcome Manchester Giants to the EIS (7.30).

The teams met less than a month ago in the BBL Cup First Round, Sharks prevailing 82-77 amid Giants’ six-game losing slide.

But the Manchester club have since bucked that trend with an impressive away with at London Lions and will be full of confidence ahead of travelling to a Sheffield side narrowly beaten by Worcester Wolves last time out.

Sharks forward Patrick Horstmann: “We need to become more consistent and improve on the defensive end.

“Manchester are a talented team that have many good scorers. We need to play good defence for 40 minutes and control the tempo of the game to have a chance to win.
