SHEFFIELD’S KELL Brook has agreed to take on his mandatory challenger Kevin Bizier before a possible domestic super-clash with long-time rival Amir Khan.

Brook was scheduled to fight Argentinian brawler Diego Chaves in October but was forced to withdraw after suffering a rib injury in training.

Rumours have been rife that an agreement had finally been reached between Brook and Khan’s respective camps, but news that Brook will meet IBF No 1 challenger Bizier have quashed those hopes, for now.

Canadian Bizier has won 25 and lost two, including a defeat to Jo-Jo Dan, who Brook dispatched in style.

Brook took to Twitter to announce his next fight will be announced soon.

He Tweeted ‘News coming this week ... I need to do some damage’
