Sheffield world champion Kell Brook says he is undaunted by the pressure that comes with defending his world title in his home town.
The unbeaten 28-year-old puts his IBF welterweight title on the line against mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan of Romania at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Saturday night.
“I always perform better under pressure,” said Brook, who won the title by beating Shawn Porter in California last August.
“There’s no change really. I’ve headlined big bills before, I’ve been over to guys back yards and won, this is nothing new to me.
“If you can fight, you can fight under any circumstances and this is going to be another day at the office for me.
“I’m going to have fun out there.”
Brook and Dan weighed in for the fight on Friday afternoon.
