All-rounder Jacklin leads Collingham bid

Aire-Wharfe

A quick-fire 75 off 58 balls from Martin Kellaway and a half-century from Tim Jackson put North Leeds on their way to a comfortable win over Guiseley and back on top of Division One.

Steve Wales' 16-over spell of 6-37 helped bowl out the visitors for 121 in reply to North Leeds' 227-5.

Toby Jacklin continues to lead Collingham's challenge from the front. He scored a half-century and, with Brian Leigh (71), saw his side to 226 before taking 5-36 as Otley were reduced to 160-8.

The five points put Collingham level on points with overnight leaders Green Lane, who crashed to their second defeat of the season, going down by 32 runs at Burley.

Jasper Wright (4-58) and Nick Brook (6-50) had Lane reeling at 70-9 and even though Ishtikhar Hussain (57) and Neil Britton (24no) put up late resistance, they were unable to hold out.

Silsden notched their first win of the season in an incredible finish at Kirkstall Educational. Chasing 238-9, Silden looked staggered to 31-5 with five of their top six batsmen getting ducks. But Vivek Mahajan (150no) and Andrew Pullan (54) put on 127 for the sixth-wicket and then Hugh Sugden (32no) saw the visitors to a most unlikely win.

James Lilley (6-62) was the architect as Adel were restricted to 145 but Dave Mather (4-48) and Mark Shires (5-44) then struck to inflict Beckwithshaw's second defeat in a row.

Denis Rock (6-12) and David Morgan (58) were the stars of the show as Rawdon beat Calverley by six wickets to send the home side to the bottom of the table.

A half-century from Alex Lees and 40 from Stefanus Strydon saw Division Two leaders Illingworth beat third-placed Follifoot with four balls to spare.
