Davies stars with both bat and ball for Bees

Bradford & Bingley took over at the top of Division One after defeating previous leaders Baildon by 55 runs.

Former Baildon seamer Will Briggs took 5-55 as his old club was bowled out for 173 in reply to Bradford & Bingley's 228 all out.

James Davies made an unbeaten 69 of Bradford & Bingley and took 3-34 as Baildon were sentenced to their third defeat in succession and dropped to third place.

East Bierley are second after beating Manningham Mills by five wickets. Andrew Rennison made an unbeaten 92 as they overcame a Manningham Mills score of 202-9 which owed much to 63 from Muenoddin Kadri. Paceman Mohammad Azhar-Ullah again performed well and took 4-58.

Fourth-placed Pudsey St Lawrence maintained their title challenge with a 40-run win at Yeadon. Teenage batsman Kassir Maroof top scored with 42 at St Lawrence batted to 169-8 before dismissing Yeadon for 129.

Pudsey Congs and Woodlands put their recent woes behind them. Former Yorkshire off spinner Jeremy Batty took 5-53 as Congs bowled out Farsley for 172 to secure a 55-run win. Earlier Andy Siddall (93) and Adam Patel (38) took Congs to a total of 237-5.

Woodlands were dismissed for 138 by Saltaire with Yassir Abbas taking 4-44, but they hit back to skittle Saltaire for 71. Pieter Swanepoel (5-21) and Safraz Ahmed (3-24) secured the 67-run win.

Gomersal's moved up to sixth place after beating bottom team Hanging Heaton by 55 runs. Overseas player Shahzaib Khan took 6-60 as Hanging Heaton were dismissed for 172 in reply to a Gomersal score of 227-5 that was built on the contributions of Gulsheraz Ahmed (83) and Richard Gould (81)

Division Two pacesetters Bankfoot opened up a 38-point lead after beating Windhill by 131-runs. South African Greg Fotheringham (133) and 18-year-old Marcus Walmsley (123no) hit centuries as Bankfoot made

290-3 before dismissing Windhill for 151 with Edward Walmsley taking 4-8.

Another century maker was Undercliffe's overseas player Nawaz Sardar. He made an unbeaten 121 as they defeated Idle by 96 runs to replace Windhill in second place.
