ECB urging Yorkshire clubs to picture a brighter future
The ECB is calling on amateur players, officials and spectators in Yorkshire to capture their best shots on camera this summer in reward for some great prizes.
The Great Exhibition Photo Competition aims to celebrate people's passion for the great game and is urging everyone in Yorkshire to capture the spirit of recreational cricket from Kwik cricket to the Cockspur Cup and everything in between.
The competition is open to all and photos submitted can be anything from a shot of your best player in action to a picturesque image of your ground or how about a snapshot of your groundsman at work or the sandwiches being prepared for a well earned team tea.
Make them unusual, innovative, amusing or just different.
With a phenomenal prize package on offer, the three winners of this unique photo competition will take home some first-class cricket equipment for their local cricket club.
1st Prize: Top of the range 10m Devon Malcolm mobile tunnel net cage complete with wicket keeping gate.
2nd Prize: 80ft x 35ft flat sheet climate cover, every groundsmans' dream!
3rd Prize: A 1000 building materials voucher to ensure your cricket ground remains in perfect condition!
Entries for the competition must be emailed along with your club name to tgephoto@threepipe.co.uk by Tuesday, September 22.
A judging panel, including former England captain and cricketing legend Mike Gatting, will shortlist the best photographs before they are showcased on www.ecb.co.uk and voted for by members of the public.
The three lucky winning photographers will be rewarded with some first- class equipment for their club.
Please note that by entering the competition and providing your email address, the ECB will add you to their mailing list so that you are the first to receive ticket alerts, behind the scenes player chat and loads of exclusive offers.
