Premier Division leaders Treeton struck back to deny Whitley Hall a notable scalp.
Treeton fell for a modest 143, South African Don Koch and Ben Webster each grabbing three cheap wickets, with only Stuart Guy putting up any real resistance with 55.
Whitley, however, were toppled for 93 as Treeton kept their unbeaten record intact, with stalwart Steve Foster, Ben Ashdown and Gary Montgomery each claiming three wickets.
Wath kept up their chase of the leaders with a five-wicket home victory over Barnsley, who closed on 160-9 with half-centuries from Simon Potter and Pete Hadfield.
Long-serving Steve Reynolds grabbed 5-26 and Lesroy Weekes 3-29 for Wath, in whose reply Matt Burrows struck 72, including 11 boundaries.
Elsecar are not the dominent force they have been in their last two championship-winning seasons, and they slumped to 123 all out at home to Houghton Main.
The damage was done by Mo Raza (4-39) and former Shiregreen strike bowler Iftikar Afzal (3-17).
This was after Houghton had reached 240-9 with Jason Knowles striking 14 boundaries in his knock of 92 and Ali Raza weighing in with 50.
Jim Tasker made 77 for Hallam before they skittled Darfield for the lowest team score of the day, 40. Their first five batsmen fell for ducks and the whole team was dismissed in 18 overs by Humphrey Emery, whose 5-12 included a hat-trick, and South African Graham Fawkes, who took 4-17.
Wickersley, the section's high-scorers the previous week, disappointed when dismissed for 142 at Rotherham Phoenix, the home club having set a target of 171 with Asadullah Butt cracking 56 and Nadeem Ahmed 41.
Greg Norton included a hat-trick in his 6-57 for Wickersley, in whose innings captain John Trower continued his fine season with a half-century.
Tickhill were victorious at Sheffield Collegiate, knocks of 56 not out from Ashley Fiddler and 45 from Kashif Raza steering them to 203.
Collegiate were sent packing for 126. Riaz Richards added 41 to his earlier four-wicket haul, before Raza completed a good afternoon's work for Tickhill with a 5-16 return.ducking
