Hanif celebrates with all-10 haul for Esholt
Aire-Wharfe
Nadeem Hanif became only the 11th player to take all 10 wickets in an innings in the Aire Wharfe League when he dismissed Colton for 149.
His 15.4 over spell of 10-60 included five bowled, one return catch, three lbws and another caught by Luke Waters.
Hanif had scored 34 in Tong Park Esholt's 257-6, which included an undefeated century from Danny Groom and 85 from Waters.
That pushes Colton closer to relegation from Division Two along with Bardsey, even though the bottom club picked up two points against Steeton, their last pair hanging on as they chased 258-4, which included a century from Jye Simpson and 73 from Richard Atkins.
Third from bottom Harden needed seven off the last over to beat Knaresborough and move closer to safety but, despite a battling 91 not out from Gary Topp and 57 from Leigh Booth, they were two runs short at the close and had to settle for two points.
The position at the top stays the same after the top four were involved in abandoned games. Alex Lees hit 114 in Illingworth's 215-6 declared and with Luke Brooksby (7-71) going strong they had leaders Pool on the rack at 146-8 before the game had to be called off.
Peter Sweeney was another centurion in Follifoot's 218-8 but second-placed Thackley could scent victory at 208-7 when the game was abandoned.
Beckwithshaw took another step towards a league and cup double when a stand of 155 between Phil Critchley (82) and Ben Quick (76) gave them a four-wicket win over Green Lane.
Third-placed Rawdon had the better of the match with second-placed North Leeds with David Morgan hitting 77 but the game was abandoned leaving Beckwithshaw eight points clear with four games to go.
Nick Brook took 7-51 with the last five wickets coming without a run being scored as Collingham were dismissed for 160 but Burley fell for 135.
Defeats pushed Silsden and Calverley a step nearer relegation. Josh Atkinson (78) and Dale Tormey (4-32) were the main contributors as Otley beat Silsden by four wickets while Mark Shires (3-33), Jeff Shires (3-40) and Tim Gray (4-24) dismissed Calverley for 143 in response to Adel's 187-5.
