Inglis century proves not enough for victory after last-ball thriller

Beckwithshaw fell two runs short of the victory that would have taken them to the top of the table when they could only manage nine off the final over at North Leeds.
With a string of solid innings, led by Ishmael Darwood's half-century, North Leeds set a 253-7 target. John Inglis led the reply with 112 and found good support from Phil Critchley (72) but the visitors could not find the boundary the needed off the final ball.
The two 100-per-cent sides went head to head and Green Lane edged the day with a four-point draw.
Luke Pearce (66) top scored for Lane as Toby Jacklin (6-74) restricted them to 186-9, but Collingham's batting never got on target, mainly thanks to the accuracy of Iskithar Hussain
(5-47).
Kirkstall's defence of the title is looking shaky after they crashed to a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Burley.
Shane Etherington produced a 9.2 over spell that returned 5-13 and with great support from Nick Brook (4-32) skittled out Kirkstall for 88.
Rawdon raced to 237-5 thanks to David Morgan, who cracked seven sixes in an unbeaten 103 and together with Les Gaylard (71no) put on 175, smashing the league's previous best sixth-wicket stand of 142. Otley had no real reply but managed to hold on for a draw.
Dave Pennett (72) and Dan Forster (63) inspired Guiseley to a four-wicket win with five overs to spare against Calverley.
Mark Whitehead (76) and a half-century from Dave Standring saw Adel to 241-8 but a dour 82-9 secured Silsden's first point of the season.
Newly-promoted Illingworth continue to set the pace in Division Two, Richard Dixon (5-54) the star of their five-wicket win at Colton.
Follifoot are up there with Illingworth, Richard Pearson
(5-36) restricting Bardsey to
155-9 and Steve Bowes hitting an unbeaten 56 against his former club to clinch a seven-wicket win.
Knaresborough's Adam Pryor hit an unbeaten century but his side could only pick up a single point against Thackley's 281-7, while an 8.9-over spell of 6-9 by Mick Scott saw Tong Park Esholt to victory over Upper Wharfedale.
Darren Blenkiron (72) and Paul Cannings (53) were the heroes as Bilton took four points off Harden while a half-century from Dave Murphy was the highlight of Pool's two-wicket win at Steeton.
