Rudolph in charge at Riverside

YORKSHIRE will again be without Anthony McGrath for tonight's Twenty20 Cup match against Durham after the captain was involved in a car accident.

McGrath suffered whiplash injuries after his car was in collision with another vehicle at the weekend and will miss the game at the Riverside (6pm start).

In McGrath's absence, Yorkshire will again be led by vice-captain Jacques Rudolph, who took the reins for Monday's 11-run defeat against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

"Anthony took a pretty nasty hit and his neck is still very sore," said Martyn Moxon, Yorkshire's director of professional cricket.

"We're just monitoring him on a day-by-day basis and hopefully he'll be able to return to action in the near future."

McGrath is also rated doubtful for Friday's match against Leicestershire at Grace Road as Yorkshire go in search of a quarter-final place following some impressive performances in the 20-overs tournament.

The county round off their group campaign against Derbyshire at Headingley Carnegie on Sunday (2.30pm start).

"We need to win two of our last three games to be sure of qualifying," added Moxon. "It's still in our own hands and hopefully we can bounce back with a good win tonight."

Yorkshire (from): Gale, Rana, Vaughan, Rudolph (captain), Brophy, Lyth, Bresnan, Rashid, Shahzad, Rafiq, Kruis, Pyrah, Patterson.
