Barnsley 1 Peterborough 0: George Williams gets his timing just right for Reds with late winner
The Tykes are now level on points with Gillingham, who clung on for a draw at Rochdale.
Chris Forrester was sent for an early bath following an altercation with Reds captain Conor Hourihane in the first half and Posh were lucky to only concede once, courtesy of a string of saves from Ben Alnwick.

The game sprung into life after 43 minutes as Forrester saw red following an altercation with Hourihane. Both received yellows for the initial coming together before referee Michael Bull sent the Posh player off for a second shove.
As the drama subsided, Alnwick pulled off an incredible reaction save to tip Winnall’s point-blank effort over the bar.
After the break, Toney’s audacious overhead kick was deflected inches wide for a corner, before Alnwick kept out Alfie Mawson’s curling strike.
