A busy night of football sees all of Yorkshire’s League clubs in action. Follow the action here.

Hull City 0-0 Leeds United

Play-off chasing Hull and Leeds did themselves no favours with a goalless draw in the Yorkshire derby at the KC Stadium.

Middlesbrough 2-0 Barnsley

Middlesbrough kept alive their automatic promotion hopes with a 2-0 win over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.

Tony Mowbray’s side took the lead on the hour mark through Seb Hines.

And Bart Ogbeche confirmed the victory for promotion-chasing Boro with a goal in stoppage time.

Nottingham Forest 1-2 Doncaster Rovers

Doncaster held on for a priceless and rare away win at their relegation rivals Forest.

Frederic Piquionne gave Rovers the lead on the stroke of half-time with a stunning long-range strike.

And shortly after the interval it got better for the division’s bottom side when Kyle Bennett doubled their lead.

Forest made a game of it when Dexter Blackstock pulled a goal back shortly after the hour mark.

League One

Huddersfield Town 1-0 Hartlepool United

Simon Grayson celebrated his second home win as Town boss as the Terries maintained their quest for automatic promotion.

Alan Lee broke the deadlock for Simon Grayson’s side with just 15 minutes remaining.

Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 Bury

Dave Jones’s reign got off to a winning start as the Owls crushed Bury to keep the heat on city rivals United in the second automatic promotion place.

Loan star Michail Antonio gave Sheffield Wednesday the lead in the 11th minute in Jones’s first home game in charge.

The Owls doubled their lead shortly after the break when Gary Madine ended his goal drought.

And Antonio grabbed his second on 58 minutes to settle the tie.

Ryan Lowe, who ex-manager Gary Megson signed from Bury, then made it even worse for his old club with the Owls’ fourth on 64 minutes.

Former Bradford City midfielder Stephen Schumacher pulled a goal back for the Shakers.

Walsall 3-2 Sheffield United

Sheffield United lost for the third time in four games as Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday ate into their advantage in the second automatic promotion spot.

Sam Mantom gave Walsall the lead on 53 minutes when he beat Steve Simonsen in the United goal.

But Danny Wilson’s side were level within 10 minutes when midfielder Lee Williamson found the net.

Jon Macken restored Walsall’s advantage on 73 minutes but once again United’s riposte was quick, Ched Evans levelling three minutes later.

But once again the Sadlers retook the lead, this time Alex Nicholls heading home to make it 3-2 with nine minutes left.

League Two

Bradford City 1-1 Accrington Stanley

Bradford threw away three points when they were pegged back in the last minute.

Phil Parkinson’s side took the lead on 51 minutes through Nakhi Wells who found the roof of the net from inside the penalty area.

But they were denied the win in the last minute when Will Hatfield levelled.

Rotherham United 1-1 Crewe Alexandra

Lewis Grabban earned Rotherham a point but it was more like two points dropped in the race for the play-offs.

The Millers fell behind to their fellow play-off chasers in the 16th minute when Harry davis scored from the penalty spot.

Jason Taylor conceded the penalty when he was adjudged to have upended Byron Moore.

Having trailed for so long Rotherham levelled on 62 minutes through Grabban.

Blue Square Premier

York City 0-0 Tamworth

York City squandered the chance to keep the heat on top spot as they were held to a goalless draw at Bootham Crescent.
