All matches Saturday 3pm unless stated

Championship

Barnsley v Bolton

Team news: Stephen Dawson is progressing well and could be back in the Reds’ first-team plans by midweek, while Kelvin Etuhu (broken nose) is on the mend. Scott Golbourne (knee) is out for the rest of the season, as is Paul Digby (hip).

Brighton v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Town remain without long-term absentees Danny Ward (broken metatarsal), Keith Southern (Achilles) and Jermaine Beckford (hamstring) but Mark Robins reported no fresh injury problems from the midweek win at Burnley.

Hull City v Birmingham

Team news: Paul McShane and Abdoulaye Faye both returned to training on Thursday and are in contention for a recall following last weekend’s thrashing at Bolton. George Boyd could also be in line for a start on what will be his home debut but Sone Aluko is out for the season.

Leeds United v Millwall

12.30pm

Team news: Rudy Austin has trained all week after recovering from the thigh strain that kept the Jamaican out against Blackpool and Blackburn Rovers. Neil Warnock, however, seems set to name the same XI that started the two games against the Lancashire clubs so Austin will have to make do with a place on the bench.

Middlesbrough v Cardiff City

Team news: Sammi Ameobi could make his debut, while Kieron Dyer and Josh McEachran are available after being ineligible in midweek. Lukas Jutkiewicz, Stuart Parnaby and Julio Arca miss out, while Jonathan Woodgate and Andre Bikey are also doubts.

Sheffield Wednesday v Nottingham Forest

5.20pm

Team news: Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones has no new injury worries, but left-back Reda Johnson misses out with his long-term foot injury.

League One

Doncaster Rovers v Hartlepool United

Team news: Paul Keegan misses out with a dead leg, but could return in midweek. Billy Paynter (thigh) is fit. Chris Brown (knee) is making positive progress and may be back in the fray soon. Martin Woods and Andy Griffin remain injured.

Oldham Athletic v Sheffield United

Team news: Jamie Murphy and Jonathan Forte (both groin) miss out, but the pair could return for the MK Dons’ home game next Saturday. Mark Howard, Lecsinel Jean-Francois and Shaun Miller remain sidelined.

League Two

Southend United v Rotherham United

Team news: Top scorer Daniel Nardiello is doubtful while midfielder Danny Kearns is definitely out for the Millers.

Defender Craig Morgan returns, giving Steve Evans a decision to make on whether he sticks with the defensive pairing of Johnny Mullins and Claude Davis.

York City v Bradford City

Team news: Chris Doig and David McGurk remained sidelined for York, along with Michael Coulson and Jon Challinor. Ex-Minstermen favourite James Meredith misses out on a return to Bootham Crescent due to glandular fever with Luke Oliver on the long-term injured list. Matt Duke returns from suspension. James Hanson may return to the starting line-up as Phil Parkinson vows to continue rotating his squad to cope with the club’s demanding schedule, today being their 48th outing of the season.
