A busy Saturday of football sees some crunch fixtures for Yorkshire’s clubs. Log on here for team news for your club.

Premier League

Hull City v Aston Villa

Team news: Paul McShane is fit again following a hamstring injury, with Hull’s major absentees being Robbie Koren (broken foot), James Chester (hamstring) and Robbie Brady (hernia), with the latter having a possibility of returning for the Everton trip on October 19 if his re-hab goes well. Gedo is likely to be on the bench, with his match fitness not yet at the suitable levels to consider him worthy of being in starting contention.

Championship

Derby County v Leeds United

Team news: Brian McDermott has no fresh injury problems with only Jamie Ashdown (foot) and Adam Drury (calf) unavailable. Scott Wootton, however, will be hoping for a recall after being dropped from the 18 players on duty in the midweek win over Bournemouth.

Doncaster Rovers v Leicester City

Team news: Left-back James Husband has a sore shoulder, while Richie Wellens, who missed training due to illness on Thursday is hoping to face his former club. Harry Forrester is continuing his road back to fitness following a thigh problem.

Huddersfield Town v Watford

Team news: Mark Robins may revert to a three-man defence after fielding a back four in the midweek draw with Middlesbrough. Danny Ward is available after being bright in his appearance from the bench at the Riverside, the winger’s first action in three weeks due to an ankle problem.

Middlesbrough v Yeovil Town

Team news: Jonathan Woodgate (calf) and Marvin Emnes (groin) face late fitness tests to determine whether they are fit enough to return. Striker Emmanuel Ledesma returns from a three-match suspension while Seb Hines is back in full training.

QPR v Barnsley

Team news: Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele (back) is still ruled out meaning on-loan Jack Butland will continue between the sticks. Marcus Pedersen impressed in the midweek draw against Reading after coming on as a substitute and could start. But Jean-Yves M’voto (ankle) is out.

Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town

Team news: Striker Matty Fryatt is set to make his full home debut, while the Owls will check on several bumps after returning from their midweek trip to Brighton at 4am on Wednesday morning.

League One

Brentford v Rotherham United

Team news: Michael O’Connor is set to return to full training on Monday and could be ready for the Swindon game next weekend. Dave Worrall is out for another three to four weeks after undergoing minor hernia surgery, while Claude Davis is still missing for the Millers.

Walsall v Bradford City

Team news: Nahki Wells is the notable asbentee for the Bantams after being forced out of last week’s win over Shrewsbury with ankle ligament damage. The top scorer is expected to be missing for at least a couple of weeks. Caleb Folan is in the squad after being given international clearance this week but Gary Jones and Garry Thompson are slight doubts.

League Two

Torquay United v York City

Team news: Richard Cresswell is again missing as the striker completes a three-game ban, incurred when sent off for violent conduct towards the end of last month’s home defeat by Mansfield Town.
