Hull City v Southampton
Team news: Gaston Ramirez is ineligible under the loan terms of his switch from St Mary’s to the East Riding but Andy Robertson is back after missing the goalless draw at Liverpool with a knee strain. Third choice Eldin Jakupovic will continue in goal. Michael Dawson, Nikica Jelavic, Steve Harper and Allan McGregor are all out.
Cardiff City v Leeds United
Team news: Rodolph Austin and Billy Sharp are both doubts but Souleymane Doukara is back after serving a one-game ban. He could displace Steve Morison in the starting XI.
Charlton Athletic v Sheffield Wednesday
Team news: Keiren Westwood (hip) faces a late fitness test, while Joe Mattock returns from suspension. Sam Hutchinson (knee) is sidelined for two months. Caolan Lavery is continuing on the comeback trail, with Lewis Buxton back in training.
Huddersfield Town v Nottingham Forest
Team news: Chris Powell continues to keep the opposition guessing after making yet another switch of formation last week at Ipswich when he employed a 3-5-2 set-up to counter the home side’s trio of strikers. This week, he could revert to a four-man backline. Jamesz Vaughan remains out.
Rotherham United v Middlesbrough
Team news: Joe Skarz is suspended for the hosts, while Richard Brindley (hamstring) is out. Richard Wood and Conor Newton had have a full week’s training and came through unscathed following practice games this week. Boro captain Grant Leadbitter returns from a one-match ban. Jonathan Woodgate, Damia Abella, Mustapha Carayol and Rhys Williams are out for Boro.
Bradford City v Doncaster Rovers
Team news: Phil Parkinson will have to make a late decision on Andrew Davies’ fitness. Gary Liddle (hamstring) is out. Sam Johnstone makes his second debut for Rovers in goal. James Coppinger is available.
Sheffield United v Barnsley
Team news: Michael Higdon is pushing for a start but Ben Davies is struggling to be fit. For the Reds, Dale Jennings is available.
Cheltenham Town v York City
Team news: Michael Ingham has recovered from a thigh injury so Russ Wilcox has to decide whether to go with the Irishman in goal or loanee Alex Cisak, who played against Mansfield last weekend. Wes Fletcher and Jake Hyde are likely to miss out.
