FA Cup quarter-final

Hull City v Sunderland

Sunday 2pm

Team news: Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic are Cup-tied due to having played in the competition already this season for West Brom and Everton respectively. Sone Aluko and Yannick sagbo are likely to start in their place, while Steve Bruce must decide whether to start first choice ‘keeper Allan McGregor or Steve Harper. Robbie Brady is out for the season following groin surgery.

Sheffield United v Charlton Athletic

Sunday 12pm

Team news: Nigel Clough will assess the fitness of Harry Maguire (knee), John Brayford (calf), Jamie Murphy (groin) ahead of kick-off. Chris Porter, Jose Baxter, Ryan Flynn and Stefan Scougall, who started the midweek game at Peterborough on the bench after being rested, could be promoted back to the starting line-up. New loan signing Kieron Freeman is eligible to play.

Championship

Barnsley v Nottingham Forest

Team news: Jim O’Brien is back in the fray after missing last weekend’s derby at Huddersfield with illness. The Reds will assess striker Marcus Pedersen, who came off with a knock while representing Norway U23s in the week.

Doncaster Rovers v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Paul Quinn could return to replace defender Bongani Khumalo, who is out for six months with a knee injury. Striker Billy Sharp returns after serving a three-match ban. For Town, Martin Paterson and Oliver Norwood retruned to training yesterday and could feature, while striker James Vaughan is making progress on the calf injury sustained in early February but is not yet ready to return.

Leeds United v Bolton Wanderers

Team news: El-Hadji Diouf will miss out against his old club with a bout of illness, while Rodolph Austin and Ross McCormack have both returned from international duty. Jack Butland will continue in goal as Paddy Kenny continues to recover from an ankle problem.

Middlesbrough v Ipswich Town

Team news: Dimi Konstantopolous will start his first league game of the campaign in place of the injured Tomas Mejias, with the ex-Real Madrid player injuring a finger in training and out for four to five weeks. Jason Steele competes with Jayson Leutwiler for a place on the bench. Jonathan Woodgate is out.

Yeovil Town v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Joe Mattock (knee) is out for at least another three weeks, while Reda Johnson has suffered a setback in his recovery with a thigh problem, putting him back for another week to ten days. Anthony Gardner and Kieran Lee remain sidelined, but Lewis Buxton could feature after returning to training on Thursday. David Prutton played 45 minutes of a training-ground game this week.

League One

Brentford v Bradford City

Team news: Andrew Davies is expected to be fit despite having to be substituted with a calf problem during the defeat to Stevenage a week ago. Rory McArdle has also returned from international duty fit and should be reunited with Davies in the back four.

League Two

AFC Wimbledon v York City

Team news: Wes Fletcher returned to training on Thursday and Nigel Worthington is hoping he will be available today after two games out with injury. Daniel Parslow is continuing his rehabilitation and is the club’s only long-term absentee.
