Leicester City 1 Barnsley 2: Gray double nets Tykes victory
Barnsley manager Keith Hill.
Keith Hill saw his Barnsley side shock big-spending Leicester City in the Championship.
Striker Chris Dagnall made his debut for the Tykes following his transfer from Scunthorpe United. Winger Jim O’Brien is still sidelined with a stomach injury and midfielder Jacob Butterfield is ruled out for the rest of the season following knee surgery.
The Reds were in front after just minutes, Andy Gray firing home for the visitors.
But on the 15th minute Leicester were level, Lloyd Dyer equalising.
Gray restored Barnsley’s lead, after good work from Ricardo Vaz Te for a goal which proved to be the winner.
