Parkinson looks for City’s best
phil PARKINSON is in no doubt as to the size of the task facing Bradford City today.
Not only are the Bantams taking on the only side in the country with a 100 per cent winning record in 2012, but they are also looking to become the first visiting team to score at Plainmoor in three months.
No wonder, therefore, that City manager Parkinson is calling on his players to rediscover their very best form in Devon.
He said: “It is a fantastic record and a great challenge for us. But we have shown before that when we play to the best of our abilities then we can match anyone.”
Michael Flynn headed south with the rest of the squad yesterday and will be hoping to make a first appearance in two months after a bout of illness.
David Syers could also feature after missing out in midweek due to a back injury, while Rob Kozluk is available again after finally serving his suspension. The full-back served the one-match ban against Port Vale in midweek following several postponements.
