Exeter 1 Huddersfield Town 4: Cadamarteri on target on debut

Huddersfield boosted their hopes of automatic promotion with a fine second-half display at Exeter.

Danny Cadamarteri received international clearance following his move from Scotland but started on the bench in Town colours.

Joey Gudjonsson played after the suspected hamstring strain that ended his evening early against Carlisle in midweek was revealed to be severe cramp.

And it was Cadamarteri who broke the deadlock on 55 minutes to put the Terriers ahead when he rolled the ball under Artur Krysiak.

Cadamarteri set up Gary Roberts who fired home from 12 yards before Krysiak gifted Anthony Pilkington a third.

A 25-yard strike from Kevin Kilbane was followed by an injury-time consolation from Daniel Nardiello for Exeter.
