Hull City face stiff competition in their quest to sign Wales’ Euro 2016 sensation Hal Robson-Kanu - while Tigers striker Abel Hernandez has been linked with a fresh move to Italy.

Premier League champions Leicester City, Swansea City and Everton are also interested in the 27-year-old, with Hull making contact with the former Reading man’s representatives last month.

Robson-Kanu was anxious to fulfil his international commitments before turning his thoughts to his club future and he revealed this week that he has others from across the globe following his exploits in France.

On the outgoing front, Hernandez could soon be on his way out of Hull, with Sampdoria keen on the Uruguayan.

According to reports in Italy, Hernandez’s agent is currently in Milan in talks with Carlo Ostio, Sampdoria sporting director, with the striker edging closer to a move back to Italy.

Leeds United star Lewis Cook is set to complete a move to Premier League side Bournemouth.
