The Terriers, third in the Championship, have set adult prices for 2017-18 at £199, £79 for those aged eight to 17 years old and £29 for under-8s.

These prices, which apply to all areas of the John Smith’s Stadium, will remain regardless of what division Town are in next season, though numbers will be capped at 17,000.

This season, Town sold 15,001 season tickets after slashing prices in a bid to improve the atmosphere and numbers at home games.

Allowing home fans into the South Stand has helped enormously in this respect and Huddersfield will sell up to 1,200 season tickets for that area of the stadium next term.

Season tickets go on sale at 9am on April 6.
