Hull's new head coach Marco Silva, previously in charge of Estoril, Sporting Lisbon and Olympiacos, replaced Mike Phelan on Thursday and has risked his growing reputation by taking on the task of keeping the club in the Premier League.

Silva, 39, made a flying start to life in England as Hull beat Swansea 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.
