Hull City
Allan McGregor. A couple of smart first-half saves to deny Dean and Boga, but did not have a great deal to do, truth be told. 7
Ola Aina. Boga looked a slippery customer on the odd occasion, but the full-back stuck to his guns and broke forward when the chance arose. 7

Hide AdMichael Hector. Steady away, with he and Dawson looking after Jutkiewicz well enough. A stroll in comparison to recent times. 7
Michael Dawson. A couple of strong blocks, but in the main, this was a much more quieter afternoon at the back - and a welcome one. Will be annoyed with Hull’s late concession, mind. 7
Max Clark. Very capable showing from the young defender, deputising for Kingsley. He will have enjoyed himself immensely. 7
Kamal Grosicki. Posed problems by the bucketload for Blues at times and showed what a threat he is when he is in the mood. Fine display. 8

Hide AdDavid Meyler. At the heart of everything good for Hull and had a vintage day in the middle of the park and was the major force. 8
Jon Toral. Some moments of quality and another who will take away plenty from an enriching afternoon. 7
Seb Larsson. His partnership with Meyler with an outstanding one on the day, full of nous and assertion. Goal against his former club near end to crown a super day. 8
Jarrod Bowen. Dazzling goal to crown his new deal and enhanced his reputation as one of the form players in the division. Hull have a talent on their hands. 8

Hide AdFraizer Campbell. First goal in Hull colours at the KCOM since April 2008. Deserved reward. Posed Blues defence countless problems, especially in first half, with his hunger, tenacity, energy and no little quality. Fine showing, got a warm ovation when he was substituted. 8
Substitutes: Marcus Henriksen (Toral 69). Scored a rare goal following majestic team play. 7.
Nouha Dicko (Campbell 70). Did his bit to help set up Grosicki’s fourth. 7.
James Weir (Bowen 82). Late sub and still on the pitch for two home goals. 6
